My core areas of specialization are marine nitrogen and carbon cycling, isotope biogeochemistry, aquatic pollution, and isotope ratio mass spectrometry. Besides marine research, I have also worked on biogeochemical processes in estuaries, bays, and lakes, particularly to understand the anthropogenic influences on these systems and further implications on the adjacent coastal ecosystems.
